The stars have beckoned countless generations of countless races... civilizations grew and fell beneath their watchful eyes. Ever just out of reach but always in the imaginations of those who dared to dream. The wonders of space are many, its dangers even greater, yet the siren call could not be ignored. Races around the galaxy pulled themselves out of the muck and flung themselves from their homeworlds to explore the heavens. The vastness of space does not seem so vast when you come face to face with another being, whose ways are alien from your own, and who lives on a world somewhere out there under a different star. It is a time of realizations, of conflict, of Awakenings. So things sit now in the galaxy, where will events lead? That is the Foreword of COE: Awakenings MUSH, and aptly describes the state of uncertainty present in the IC world. The year is 2542, and the 2nd Interstellar War was just ended, leaving the solar system to rebuild. Players can take part in variaty of roles in the Terran Commonwealth, the stellar nation that took the blunt of the fighting. Terrorists, pirates, racists, crimelords, and the cyborg soldiers and genetically engineered laborers of the war struggle to carve out a piece of the action for themselves. Roleplaying opportunites are limitless. From the lowlife street thugs doing the bidding of the crimelords, to the fighter jocks of the Terran Commonwealth Navy, defending Earth in it's vulverablr post-war state. COE is a Roleplaying focused MUSH, rather than combat oriented, but that doesn't there's a lack of excitement. From pitched space battles against pirates, to shady underworld dealings, to court room drama... COE offers something for every taste.
