* WARNING: MUD CONTAINS ADULT CONTENT * Akashat, the city of dreams. A nexus point for the collective subconscious of all humanity, indeed, of perhaps even worlds yet explored. It is here one may find the most powerful of dreamers, those taken from their former lives, remade in an often stylized image of themselves, and trapped within the city. The city moves, floating from one end of an expansive desert to the other, never twice at the same place, never truly more then ethereal. Dreams are the only way to access the city and those who first began to find themselves here soon organized a caste system. The three classes, the Nobles, who rule, the Citizens, who usually run businesses, and the slaves, used and abused, who are cared for and pampered by the other two classes. Created from the very essence, the very souls of each trapped dreamer, the City dreamed into being two rulers for itself. Taking their names from the mythical fae of legend, Titania and Oberon control access to the outside minds of the slumbering. With the aid of the Dream Mercenaries, they control access to the true world's dreams and harvesting whatever they could find within them, be it riches, goods or souls. The Royal Couple now rules over Akashat, aided by a Triumvirat comprising the Emir, the Crimson Cardinal and the Saharan head of the Asrag Reejal. To help (or hinder) the Triumvirat, a House of Lords sits under the watchful eye of the Speaker of the House. Members of the Nobility plots and plans, in turn watching the Governement's every move, in between hosting lavish parties in their domains when there's no uprising or doom looming at the horizon. Come dream with us in the elusive city, where anything within imagination is welcome.

Between the Euphrates and the Tigris river, in this portion of the world known as the craddle of humanity, there is a legend rumored at night when children are asleep. It tells the tale of the ever elusive City of Akashat, nestled in its lost Vale between high mountains. The city moves, floating from one end of the desert to the other, never twice at the same place. Dreams are the only way to access the city and one can find oneself trapped forever. Soon, those trapped organized a system of government, three classes, the Masters, who ruled, the Citizen, who usually run businesses, and the slaves, used and abused, cared and pampered by the other two classes. One trapped dreamer, who had the most powerful dreams, found out how to send other dreamers back, to invade people in the outside world's dreams and harvest whatever they could find in these, be it riches, goods or souls. The Grand Vizir now rules over Akashat, aided by a Conclave of Princes, and opposed by a dark dreamer: The Crimson Cardinal. Come dream with us in the elusive city, where all dreams are welcome.

Akashat is a fantastical setting, built from the dreams and the wills and the nightmares of its inhabitants. Whether Akashat is real or simply a shared hallucination is open to speculation by the scholars of the City, but its inhabitants, from all species, places and times, often have more interesting things to do than endlessly debate.
