This MUSH is based on the world of Roger Zelazny's Amber series. Plots in the style of the books include conspiracy, intrigue, battle and romance. Players are encouraged to read the novels to get a better understanding of the genre, but this is not required. Amber allows for a wide range of character concepts, as long as they are within a few logical restrictions (no book characters without permission, etc). Amber is the longest-running and best-thriving of all the Amber-themed MUSHes around, and offers a flexibility for setting and story found in few other environments. ^{[1] [3]}
