Description
Perched in the silent void of the Dulcais sector sits one of the Federation's most strategic outposts; Station 419. At the edge of the Klingon and Romulan borders, 419 keeps a watchful eye on the new Romulan/Federation alliance against the Dominion aggressors and their Cardassian lapdogs. It is here that the Federation is attempting a grand experiment of peace in this difficult time of war. With a crew made up of both Starfleet and Romulan officers, Station 419 is poised to usher in a new era of peace with the Romulan people, or destroy the notion once and for all. Anomaly is concentrated on story, theme and character and not simulated space. We run episodes tabletop style as well as Tiny Plots. If you think you have what it takes to make it into the cast, then come by and check us out. We're very different from other Trek MU*s out there.

Anomaly is set on a single space station at the border of the Federation, Romulan Star Empire and Klingon Empire. It is focused on character, roleplay, and story. It does not have a space system or coded consoles, and all code is designed to enhance and supplement roleplay rather than overshadow it. [2]

I haven't been playing here as long as some others, but here is what I know. Anomaly is one of the best Star Trek muds I have ever played. I played a few, and I hated all the code, there wasn't much RPing going on, and here it is solely roleplay. Chargen is pretty much a no brainer, and that helps a lot. The staff is very friendly. When you have a question, they will answer it as best as they can. If there is a problem, they will help you out, and they are very friendly to boot. There is always at least one staffer on at any given time, if not more that can help. The playerbase is a pretty good size, and normally there is always some RP going on. Either that or some one willing to RP. In my opinion, and I am sure I am not alone, this is one of the best Star Trek themed MUDs out there.
