Over a thousand years since the Shattered Wars, the world has become very much rebuilt and the dragons, although still around, seem to have relinquished control. Three lands have risen to become civilizations, the most prosperous still looked after by dragon kind but each having its own ruling government: The first a realm where things that humans would have considered fantasy have become common. Not just dragons but also elfkin and others have claimed it as a homeland, all ruled over by an unpredictable Elven king. A second land, under a human Empress, has become a prosperous one that's strikingly medieval in feel. Mostly a human population this land also controls the largest of ports and is often a stop for travellers also giving the most motley assortment of peoples to be found. Finally the third land, one that has tried to rebuild the advancements that humans once had, is a slowly rebuilding reminder of the post-apocalyptic future that humans have had to endure. Controlled by the iron fist of a General, this land ranges from the broken runes of the old world to newer buildings and some suspect hidden technologies. ^[1]
