CrystalDreams MUSH takes place many years before the birth of Killashandra Ree from Anne McCaffrey's Crystal Singer series of novels. Our Heptite Guild is a relatively young Guild, still searching actively for more ways to capitalize on the wonders of Ballybran crystal, while having plenty of room for new applicants to fill our halls and help fill a long list of orders from around the galaxy. Applicants are healthy, bright and able - merely superfluous in their fields, in need of money, or otherwise searching for employment, fulfillment, riches or fame. All of these are available to the elite and powerful cutters of crystal, the Crystal Singers... As a young Guild, applicant survival rate is low. Less than half of any given class of applicants is expected to survive. Those that do face a rough future with the Guild in any of the Guild's adapted or chosen fields.
