I got on this mud because it sounded quite fun. I was pleasantly suprised with the amazing use of ansi color. It's not just clever, it's literally art. Everything in this world is rich with color, and feels very warm, open, and alive. The mud has immortals, admins, or whatever you're used to calling them. They're called Wizards in this mud. I was amazed by the friendliness to new players. Some muds claim this and don't deliver. Not only are the Wizards in this game helpful, but they show they care with action, not just words. Want an example? I noticed a game in this mud called lazer tag. I played it, and enjoyed it, but found it too short timewise. I talked to a Wizard about it. Instead of an annoying tone, I was answered with a I will look into it. I was even more pleasantly suprised to log on today and see he'd wrote me a note to let me know he'd extended the time on the game, and also will be adding in code so players can customize time themselves. Can you get care like that on any other social mud? None I've been to. I mentioned Games. Well if you happen to be looking for a mud with them, trust me, this is it. You can type @games and warp right there, trust me when I say there is something for everyone. From musical chairs, lazer tag, concentration, hangman, and so many others I can't begin to list them all. You can also contribute to this world. Build a home, write a book for the library. Go visit Valentine Island with that special someone. Everything in this mud has a unique feel. After all the PK muds, and general chaos, I like to come to this mud to relax. It already feels like home to me, and that's something that no other social mud has done for me. I would recommend this to everyone. You must login as guest first, but right away when you read the greeting message, you'll see how to join as a player, and how to turn ansi on. In closing, I must say even other players are helpful. In other social muds I've been to, they haven't. Every other social mud could pick up some pointers simply by playing this mud. And for you social mudders sick of the rudeness, the horrid immortals, and the poor treatment in general, there is a home for you after all. It's here.
