Description
BACK AGAIN FOR GOOD, AND BETTER THAN EVER!!! 05/22/2013 !!!! Edge of Chaos is back up, and better than ever! A new admin staff, promises new content for all categories of the mud daily. We have a very active team supporting the very active progress of our mud. We have an active Non-PK Player base, active PKers, and active Role Players and Questers. We currently offer more than any other DBZ mud out there, with special features such as but not limited to: **Multiple newbie learning zones to choose from. **An extensive, yet simple to learn quest system never seen on a DBZ mud. **Quest logging and listing commands, to view your own quests or other players quests. **An automatically rewarding Role Play channel. **Token system that covers Questing, and Role Play to bring the rewards together as one list for all players to fairly access via their preferred methods. **A unique PK/PVP system where you gain an increased stat limit from killing people close to your level. That is far from everything, and only covers some of the more recently added code content! Our world has grown huge. We have removed many stock areas, and rebuilt many others from the ground up. We also add new areas -weekly- or even more, along with new quests and rewards. Every member of our Immortal team is active on a daily basis. We are a very newbie friendly mud, so wether you are new to muds, new to dbz muds, or an old hat to both come on over and check us out.

I have found the content in this mud to be very entertaining, the playerbase and imms are amazing people on the mud, always helpful and always willing to teach new players and old about our mud. We have lots of quests and more still being added, the staff produces great zones that are great fun to go wander through. As short as I have played I've found this is the mud I stick to because it brings DBZ to life and gives it great twists in some areas, the content is great to explore and there is always things you have yet to find!! The pk is amazing and surprisingly very balanced out making it a blast to go jump some of the other players!! :D Hope to see you on DBZ:EoC

Well I have to hand it to DBZ EoC. I've played dbz smaug muds for years. Spent 4-5 years playing one called DBSOS some of you may remember it. DBZ EoC has the most active helpful immortal staff of any mud I've ever played on. They put out new content at a rate that is impossible for the players to keep up with. They hold active events regularly. As well and perhaps most importantly the immortal staff and coders pay attention to the concerns of the players and balance things accordingly. You couldn't ask for a better smaug mud. Compared to DBSOS DBZ EoC is about 10,000,000x better. If you've ever thought about playing a dbz mud or perhaps you're a veteran of them I highly recommend giving DBZ EoC a shot. I think you'll find the staff and players very helpful and eager to help you adjust and gain power level. Not that theres an official ranking but I give this mud 5 out of 5.

I'm a new builder on DBZ: Edge of Chaos. To tell the truth, I've been building on a few MUDs lately, but for some reason, this MUD has really called my attention. It is definitely unique, in the sense that most DBZ muds coded on SMAUG are all relatively the same with respect to the gain system, as well as the way stats work. This MUD is different, however. Characters gain more hp as they progress and the best way to gain PL is with your max form. In most MUDs, surpassing a 16x pl mod will decrease gains, but the system here is different. The best gains are at the max pl mod, being the strongest transformation. It's definitely closer to home when comparing with the series. This really makes things more interesting. The pace at which players get strong is relatively fast, and the extremely large variety of items in the MUD allows for a very enjoyable experience. I haven't taken the initiative to create a character of my own, due to the fact that I've been dedicating my time to building. The truth is, I've decided to put a lot of work into this MUD, not only because of how unique it is, but also because I find this place extremely comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and also very helpful. The pbase isn't bad either. Usually I find seven to eight people online during the evenings, which allows for some good roleplaying, as well as a decent environment to just play and chat. All in all, this is a great MUD. It's definitely a good choice if you're looking for a decent place to settle for a few months, relax, and get away from the tedious struggles of everyday life. Within the next few weeks I plan on building some very innovative and unique areas, and I invite everyone who loves mudding to stop by and check it out.
