The world of Fatal Dimensions has many of its secrets hidden and let the player into a fully interactive world, not just a hack and slash. Fatal Dimensions is more than a mud only, it can be a place to socialize, to exchange ideas about mudding, to gather information for other administrators. Fatal Dimensions is a fantasy-oriented MUD where players of different classes can explore their ways through varied areas of wonder and imagination. Fatal Dimensions has a few stock areas so any newbie can feel quite at home in the beginning. We have a dedicated group of builders who regularly add new areas to the world. I've been playing on Fatal Dimensions on and off for almost 8 years now. In that time I switched to many different online games / MUDS in that time but this has always been my home. The community when at its peak has been the most diverse and enjoyable experiences I've ever had. As a player, there is so much in Fatal Dimensions has to offer that many who are apart of it have become close friends of mine through the years. There is a great sense of community within both the players and immortals as well as rivalries between the different factions / clans available. Crusade against and vanquish the many evils of the realm as a Templar, gain infinite and complete knowledge and understanding with the BlackFlame or walk down the dark path less traveled and learn the many secrets of Vampyr. With 4 main classes, 7 races and new subclasses on the way. Choose what best suits you and discover a unique world with some familiar places as well as custom made areas. In today's world of muds that just seem to come and go by the changing of the seasons, it can be very frustrating for players who spent months, even years, building up their players only to have the mud shut down due to infighting of the immortals or inactivity from the players causing immortals to give up. Neither of these have been the case with Fatal Dimensions. We are a Rom based mud that has been around since 1996. In this time we have managed to grow a huge following with many players having logged more than a decade worth of gameplay in our world. While the list of max level players is quite impressive the amount of role playing and clan activity helps to keep these players around enjoying good times and friendship for years and years. Now not everything can be based upon your interaction with the players. Are you looking for a good solid world to explore? How about a world where many of our areas have won major mud awards for design and layout? The world of Fatal Dimensions has all of the above, along with some of the more familiar areas that you are used to seeing when you venture through a Rom world. If you are feeling more adventurous than the next player, do we have a solution for you! With hardcore mode you can compete to be the highest level player without dying. The downside you say? Well, if you do happen to die, you get the joy and thrill of creating a new player...I mean what kind of name would hardcore be if it didn't have some risk? Fatal is an awesome place to play. The commands are very simple, unlike some other muds, but don't get me wrong the gameplay is very indepth. There are many very original areas, and even more are being implemented. As we speak the staff is working on at least 4 new areas, and they're also working hard on a new sub class system so you can customize your character even more. The clan system is also very cool. Come join me in Vampyr to find out...or join the Templars...or any one of the other clans we've got.
