Magic and sword play is what they have in common and it is now that their paths intertwine. Osaka, Japan. Year 1993. The scene is set at the boarding school for the elite, Osaka Seiko Gakuin, and envelopes around the lives of the students and their lives while attending the educational facility. However, something is amiss; strange occurrences have been happening, things that cannot be simply explained. It is the handful of brave students that will unravel the mysterious events, or will they? The future of the planet Earth is held within the hands of the Queen of the White Moon Court, who has resurrected the times of the Silver Millennium and created the utopian society of Crystal Tokyo, along with other cities that have been crystalized. While locations of civilization have been reduced from those in the 20th century, this has allowed the remainder of the planet to go back to its natural environments and climates. Technology has advanced, a grand academy arisen to teach those the threads of magical studies, and people live for centuries rather than decades. All was peaceful, until the wisps of Chaos were reborn and darkness started to extend its shadowy clutches toward this utopian society. Three settings await you: the highly evolved Silver Millennium and richly magical Golden Elysium, thousands of years ago; Tokyo, Japan of the 1990s; and Crystal Tokyo of the 30th Century. Ginzuishou MUX goes beyond the original story, evolving into a nearly unique setting. Lavishly described grids bring the worlds of the Moon, Earth, Tokyo, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and beyond to life. A detailed storyline binds together the future and the past. While events in the manga and anime will guide the story, power rests in the hand of you, the players. An active roleplay staff helps to instigate roleplay and oversee the main world. Do you need to know Sailor Moon inside and out to play? No! The magical nature and several cultures developed by the game's creators and players give Ginzuishou MUX a deep, inspired background. Fantasy roleplayers will find many familiar elements. Everyone, from new player to experienced veteran, is welcome. Ginzuishou MUX runs off MUX 2.1 and features a fully documented Character Generation system derived from the Big Eyes, Small Mouth system. We're more than happy to instruct players in its finer points, but our emphasis is strongly upon cooperative roleplay. We offer slots for canon characters (like the senshi and generals), original characters (such as our entirely new line of villains), and 'powered' original PCs (like mages, etc).
