Metro has undergone a change. At the end of 2005, the game was shut down and all old characters who had been created from 1998 when the original game opened up to that date were cleared from the database. Metro opened again using the name "Metro II" or "M2" enforcing all new characters, all new plots, and an extremely active staff and playerbase. M2 is still set in Toronto and old players may note a comfortable feeling on the refurbished but familiar city-grid. Players may apply for one supernatural-based character and choose from any of eight different spheres to play in. Changeling: The Dreaming, Demon: The Fallen, Mage: The Ascension, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Wraith: The Oblivion are all supported as well as Mortal PCs and an Asian sphere that includes Hengyokai Shifters and Kuei-Jin vampires. New players are encouraged to stop by and check the game out. Returning players are always welcome.
