Description
Soucon MUSH is a themed roleplaying MUSH based on the series of books the 'Dragonriders of Pern' by Anne McCaffrey, and runs with full permission from the author. We attempt to recreate, with as much authenticity as possible, the atmosphere and society described in the books. Set in the Southern Continent of Pern we are set in the 10th Pass, one pass after the events in Dragonflight, The White Dragon etc. We do not recognize the events outlined in 'All the Weyrs of Pern', and therefore Thread still falls, though technology remainsl very limited. SouCon MUSH is PernMUSH's sister game, and an ideal place to send a PC relative of a character you have here: we're running on the exact same timeline! Smaller than PernMUSH, SouCon offers a more intimate atmosphere for RP. Currently, we have 2 Weyrs (mountainous Honshu and jungle-covered Southern), 2 Holds, and many Crafts, offering characters many ways in which to get involved. We have 4 Hatchings a year, and Impress up to 10 players at each Hatching on average. We consider ourselves one of the friendliest MUSHes out there, and offer help to new players of all levels of experience.
