    Ever wondered when TinyCWRU started?  I have!  We never could figure 
    it out with any kind of accuracy, until today.  Google has a new archive
    of old Usenet posts online, and here's the original announcement of 
    TinyCWRU, from October 11th, 1990:

TinyCWRU is an ancient MUSH with no theme. You can do whatever you want there and not worry about Wizards hassling you about not having a name that's "In Theme". TinyCWRU is probably the biggest TinyMUSH ever, at about 127,000 objects. [1]
TinyCWRU is a nice, out of the way world where you can chat with folks, or do whatever you want, on a fairly quick server. It's one of the older TinyMUSH servers, and will be around for years to come. [2]
A very large, very old social MUSH. The number of players connected at any given time is, however, relatively low, due to sometimes extreme lag. It has a home page which is also home to the web2mush experimental link. Its machine also hosts a large FTP site for MUD information. [3]
