TinyTIM is the world's oldest continual MU* in existance. We have a blistering social scene with frequent headache-producing events and various other things that make your stomach hurt. Most people never live through the experience, but that doesn't stop them. Our wizards are utterly arbitrary, and we've been known to turn people into lawn chairs for using the letter 'o' in their name. We have a Pern Weyr that's really nice, except the carpeting is very ugly. Come on down and hang out in the TinyTIM Main Area Place (the Nexus), which we stole from TinyHell and they can't have it back, the bastards. It likes us better anyhow. We're run by a cow and a fish and some Klingons and a few dragonriders and an ancient Native American god and a guy who's really both a guy and a girl, plus some others. Sometimes it gets confusing, and often frightening. But hey, you only live once. Oh! Nearly forgot. We're not just a big game; we're a REALLY big game.

TinyTIM is a really big thing, like the Postal Service or Premarital Sex. And the Clock on the Wall is the single most complicated Thing on TinyTIM . Really. Completely. People have been known to have conversations with it. People ask it questions they wouldn't ask their best friend or closest lover. It has been known to send people screaming off the game. It's been parodied and paid homage to on other MUSHes. TinyTIM was started as a prank on an MIT computer in 1990, and through the help and insanity of dozens of people, has grown into one of the largest free- standing structures on the Internet. TinyTIM is addictive. It's fun. It's wacky. It's running on a Sparcstation that's painted like a cow.

Silliness abounds, in an uncontrolled environment. This is the place to be if you're not interested in getting anything serious accomplished. It's currently the oldest MUSH in existence, started over four years ago, and at present it has one of the largest still-running MUSH databases. It's running its very own divergent brand of MUSHcode. For more information about TinyTIM, look through its home page or its FTP site .
