Description
The Internet's most popular Alternate Universe Star Trek game returns! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The year is 2414, and following the secession of the Rihannsu Stelam Empire and the Cardassian Union from the Galaxy Alliance that was born in the fire of the Borg War in 2367, the fractures of the alliance continue to form. With the Beerax colony breaking away from the protection of Starfleet and the Alliance, the Bajorans (faced with a severe economic disadvantage) have made the decision to stand alone with limited support. Without the wormhole under their direct control, the Alliance has come to an agreement to provide defensive and economic support to Bajor in exchange for administrative access to the wormhole. However, recent joint exploration missions into the Gamma Quadrant have brought news of a new power in the Milky Way known simply as "The Dominion." I'd been looking for a good Star Trek mud to play for a long time before finally coming across this one. It is a very well established game, with history, many interactive objects in both space and aboard ships, many opportunities for RP'ing in the Trek universe and not to mention, a friendly player and staff base. Character Generation is very simple and with the addition of the wiki help files, very easy to complete. I highly recommend this MOO as a place to spend time.

This is a very well established and carefully moderated Moo. The admin and players of which have proved to be friendly and welcoming to new players. There is a huge choice of environments to play within, as well as a range of different organizations, giving the player plenty of scope for high quality roleplay. I have been made to feel very at home and if I have encountered any problems or difficulties, staff and fellow players have only been too eager to help and support me. Character Generation was very easy and straightforward, and it is clear that having a good sense of humor is prized as an asset when interacting with other players. I can highly recommend WNO as a good place to spend time.
