Description
The city of 'Straford' in 'the-night.com' is a hotbed of crime, mystery, paranormal activity, and (best of all) role-playing. Established in 1999, 'TNC' (formerly 'Stormy Nights') has a new owner and a new direction. The game focuses more on non-stop player-instigated role-play with staff assistance (and from time to time a staff-instigated role-playing session). A player-run newspaper (complete with reports, editors, newsrooms, bulletin boards, and, of course, newspapers) reports the activities of the players, including the player-run police department and organization that often conflicts with one of the player-run mafias. These run-ins often lead to player lawyers representing both sides in our realistic courtroom design with a concealed jury system. With new professions being enhanced for player-run role-playing all the time, 'the-night.com' is improving...

With new professions being enhanced for player-run role-playing all the time, 'the-night.com' is constantly improving itself. Currently featuring a real-time camera/film/theatre system, cars, houses, offices, postal system, phones, casino, three towns (two habitable), television system, auction system, player-run bars, airplanes, trains, musical instruments, accent system, identity-concealing masks, access to staff assistance, and more! Coming soon: player created (filmed, written, edited by and starring) films, medical system (player-run hospital), and more! 'the-night.com' now supports the Wizard Front End client for those who wish to use it. Access information can be found at www.the-night.com. [1]
As you enter Stormy Nights, you are in the town of Rockwood with much do to and see. You can sift for gold, solve a mystery, mine for gems, deliver packages, and even catch criminals. From Rockwood, you have access to 3 other towns. You can get to these towns by walking, driving, sailing, flying, or by train. Alvalopo is for the rich and famous. Lake Ceres is a for those special private getaways. Tira is exclusively for PLUS members only. Tira has many things to help pass the time; shops, casinos, and work. Each town serves its own purpose. You will find many events and attractions in each town. For example, in Rockwood, it has a movie theater and each week, a new movie premieres. All the fun and excitement you can possibly have is in Stormy Nights. [2]

I love SN. There's so much to do and see, it's remarkable. The guides/hosts are very friendly and are there to help. There's always something new going on. They're still developing, but that's cool because, you get to be the first to try things out. If you don't play Stormy Nights, you should!

Stormy Nights is cool. I've been an active player for almost a year now, and love coming in every day to play. ESPECIALLY when there's a mystery in the process; those are great. If you haven't been there yet, stop by. You'll like it.:)
