Smell that? Stand back and take a deep whiff. Thats the smell of an orc skull well-cloven by good Tar Valon steel so the brains lop out in two neat peices and don't leak out the ears like you get with a warhammer. Smell that toasty smell? That's elven eyeballs roastin on the fire after a hard day of fireballin innocent villagers and hobbits. Yeah there's nothin like roastin eyeballs over the campfire after a hard day's hike through the Shire. That's right, that's the smell of Demons Gate! So come on in closer ... sharpen up yer knives and grab a barbecue stick ... there's plenty of room for more!! Demon's Gate is a pure fantasy role-playing environment (though role- playing isn't required). Features include a complex combat system with new detailed critical hits, detailed npcs, quests, guilds and clubs. The mud is divided into a number of variously themed domains including those based on J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert Jordan, and a few all-original domains. DG is a very fast-growing mud, with interesting new areas, guilds and systems being introduced all the time. After gaining some experience playing DG, players are welcome to apply for wizardhood, even with no prior coding experience.

The Demon's Gate is a world which has gone through some hard times but has grown to become a fairly large mud with many places and several domains. Some domains are free fantasy whie others are inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Raimond E. Feist and others.

I have been playing this mud for some years now and it is the best experience i've had with this kind of game in my life. I've played some other muds but Demons Gate is far better. The playerbase might not be the greatest, but possibilities of roleplay and character creation are really great. You can feel the hilt of your sword and you almost can smell the spring, blooming forest around. Shivers run through your spine when exploring some dark cavern or drinking an ale with your company after helping the mayor restore peace within the city gates. You can be a mage, warrior, ranger, even a lich of a werewolf. The world is detailed and really big. So anyone who's searching to roleplay his character or just have fun and slaughter some monsters, feel free to drop by. The mud is a bit hard in the beginning, but when you get the hang of it, it only gets better.
