Description
Welcome to the original Dragonball Arena, under new administration! Dragonball Arena has been up since 1999, and runs a unique codebase that has been mimicked but never perfectly copied, where nothing in combat is automated. Charge an attack as long as you like or as long as your Ki can handle it and its power will reflect how long you gathered your energy. Melee attacks have a brief follow-through that require recovery, but higher speed gained through stat training allows you to recover faster. Roleplaying is greatly encouraged, and stories and sagas are run by our RP staff and quest imms. Special attacks, gear, and power up messages are available through RP rewards, allowing you to customize your character to your liking. Famous Dragonball characters are rare, however, as we prefer to make our world more unique and we urge our players to make their characters unique, as well. Our quest staff offers weekly and monthly quests, and personally tailored quests from certain IMMs, available when they are. Dragonballs, tournaments (both RP and code,) and other major events are scheduled every other month, and is tailored to appeal to all tiers and types of players. So come and join us in the Arena! Battle and lore all await you!

Innovative ideas such as -Fusion -Energy blasts -Charging energy and even -Nice immortals But we need coders and builders to bring these ideas to life. [2]

Best mud i've ever played on. Even if you don't like Dragonball z you can still enjoy the complexity of the mud. It has friendly players and great immortals. I would recommend this mud over any other mud out there.

For the past few years I've played at DBA, and it's been probably one of the better Dragonball muds out there. The Code combat is very fun and can be very attractive to those whom are looking for a True Dragonball experience. But, soon I began to flow towards the Rp side of it. And indeed roleplay is heavily encouraged as I now work with the mud as a Roleplay Immortal or staff member. The mud continually grows and as people come the roleplay becomes more fleshed out and it will then flourish as people begin to make friendships and form rivalries. And each time they keep getting better. Better yet, come see what I'm talking about. I hope to see you there!

Dragon Ball Arena A very creative twist to the typical dragon ball z mud. Dragon Ball Arena features nine playable races, each with it's own skills and stats. The combat system is unique. Players must not only pay attention to the health and ki (mana) levels, but also to their balance meter, charge time and wait time meters. Power level is gained in combat by hitting opponents. The amount of power level gained is determined by statistics. Intelligence, Wisdom, Constitution, Strength, and Dexterity. Stats are increased by trains, which are gained at different power levels. Players are able to utilize multitudes of skills, including all the special attacks from the series, basic and advanced hand to hand skills, and can even create their own custom skills through roleplay, in which player are encouraged to be involved in. RPs can be held by immortals or by players, with large groups or just a few people. An almost infinite amount of different equipment is available. With custom equipment available, the possibilities are limited to your imagination. Clans are available to join as well, each having it's own Clan Hall, equipment, purpose, rival clans, and territory. Immortals and players are friendly and are always willing to give new players advice.

This is a really good mud. I don't think I've ever played anything like it. If you like DBZ/GT you'll love this mud.
